YOU DON'T NEED A MENTOR, YOU NEED A CRITIQUE PARTNER

A mentor is hard to find. People with experience sufficient to mentor you are busy and often charge for their time (as they should). It is difficult for a mentee to provide proportional value back to the mentor.⁣⁣

A critique partner is easy to find. A critique partner is someone similar to your level who can offer you collaboration, critiques, support, and guidance.⁣⁣

How to maximize both. Consume FREE content from mentors in the form of books, podcasts, social media content, and videos.
Get individualized support from your critique partner in the form of critiques, collaboration, and mutually beneficial support.⁣⁣

HOW TO FIND A CRITIQUE PARTNER.

  • Look for someone similar to your level⁣⁣
  • Look for someone in a similar situation (e.g. another solo freelancer who also needs a critque partner)⁣⁣
  • Ask them⁣ and define the terms of your relationship
  • Make sure you keep a balanced relationship⁣
