The tagline is one of the last things you should do in your strategy
First we must find
- Purpose statement
- Mission
- Vision
- USP
- Message
- Values
- Positioning
- Our story
- Our audience
Here is the process
Start by creating 3 columns
Start by creating 3 columns where you will write all your keywords.
Label them:
- USP
- Primary
- Secondary
Focus on usp
Usp column
This is your most important column.
Every keyword in this column carries more weight than the other columns.
These are the keywords that differentiate you from your competition.
Stuff your competitors cannot say about themselves.
Primary column
Write down keywords linked with the core of your brand:
- Your target audience
- Their needs and problems
- How they benefit from you
Secondary column
Write down keywords linked with the secondary core of your brand:
- Your purpose
- Your mission
- Your vision
- Your values
Try to come up with as many keywords as you can for these 3 columns.
Plug all those keywords into a synonym and related words tool.

Write down every relevant synonym.
