Difference Between UX And UI Design

Difference Between UX And UI Design

User Experience Design (UX) encompasses all aspects of a person's interaction with a product or service. It's the person's journey to solve a problem.

User Interface Design (UI) is more focused on how a product's surfaces look and function. Think screens, buttons, icons, navigation bars, etc. These are more tangible elements.

Here's how the responsibilities break up

UX

- Interaction Design

- Content Strategy

- Wireframing & Prototyping

- Information Architecture

- User Research

- Journey Mapping

UI

- Visual Design

- Color Theory

- Graphic Design

- Layout

- Typography
