BASICS OF ALIGNMENT
LEFT ALIGNMENT IS THE BEST
Centered alignment is the not the best. Reading is not Smooth
Left alignment is the best. Reading is smooth.
SMOOTH ROAD SMOOTH READ
What if we compare our Eyes to a Car: If the road is good, the ride will be smooth.
Similarly if the alignment is good, the read will be smooth. So Left alignment is best for readability.
TEXTFIELD ALIGNMENT
Difference between Top/Middle/Bottom:
Top: Starts from Top & Pulls down the text to next line and maintains alignment in textfield to top.
Middle: Starts the text in the middle and pushes text to top and centers everything in textfield.
Bottom: Starts from bottom & pushes text to top and maintains alignment in textfield to bottom.
SECRET TO GOOD ALIGNMENT
Avoid touching the sides of the artboard while designing carousels and posts.
